1. Scope
This policy explains how Axis Gamepad PRO (“Axis,” “we,” “us”) handles information through the Axis Android application, axisgamepad.com, and related support and entitlement services.
2. Information used by the Android app
Depending on the features you use, Axis may process:
- Account information: Google account identifier, verified email, display name and profile image when you choose Google sign-in.
- Device and security information: a one-way hash derived from the Android device identifier, device model and display name, app version, integrity results and security challenge data used for device authorization, fraud prevention and access control.
- Purchase and entitlement information: Google Play product, order and purchase-token information required to verify ownership, restore purchases and provide paid capabilities.
- Diagnostics: app version, device and operating-system context, crash reports, diagnostic events and information you include when reporting a problem. Release builds may use Firebase Crashlytics when enabled.
- Advertising and temporary access: Google Mobile Ads may process device, ad interaction and verification information when an advertising-supported access option is used.
- Local configuration: game lists, mappings, scenes and settings are stored on the device unless you explicitly export or share them. Axis needs visibility of launchable apps so you can choose a game to map.
3. Website information
The website has no account system, contact form or interactive-demo storage. Gyro slider and scene-demo values remain in the browser and reset when the page reloads. We use Vercel Web Analytics for privacy-focused aggregate traffic measurement. Standard hosting logs may include request time, page, browser, approximate network information and IP-derived operational data.
4. Why we use information
- Provide sign-in, device authorization, controller mapping and support.
- Verify purchases and determine available capabilities.
- Detect abuse, protect accounts and enforce device or access limits.
- Diagnose crashes, reliability issues and failed product flows.
- Operate and improve the website and app.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Service providers
Axis uses service providers where required to operate the product, including Google Play and Google identity services, Play Integrity, Google Mobile Ads, Firebase Crashlytics, database and backend hosting providers, and Vercel for website hosting and aggregate analytics. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including account security, purchase records, support, legal compliance and fraud prevention. An in-app account deletion option may remove the Axis account and associated account data, subject to records we must retain. Google Play purchase records remain governed by Google. Local mappings can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling Axis.
7. Security
We use access controls, encrypted network transport, hashed device identifiers, signed entitlement mechanisms and integrity checks designed to protect the service. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Axis is not directed to children under the minimum digital-consent age applicable in their location, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Your choices
You can choose not to sign in, subject to feature requirements; decline optional ad-supported flows; uninstall the app; delete your Axis account where available; or contact us about a privacy request. Rights vary by location.
